About Our Soapbox
Our Soapbox is more than a place to express opinions. It is a place to share knowledge, preserve history, encourage self-reliance, promote lifelong learning, and create opportunities for respectful conversation.
Why “Our Soapbox”?
The name comes from a time when ordinary people stood on wooden boxes to share ideas, challenge assumptions, and inspire their communities. They believed their voices mattered and understood that meaningful change often begins with a single conversation. That same spirit guides us today.
Guided by Faith
Our work is guided by our Christian faith. We believe serving God includes serving others with humility, honesty, compassion, and a willingness to share the gifts and knowledge we have been given. Faith calls us to remain teachable, serve faithfully, speak truthfully, and treat others with dignity.
Speaking—and Listening—with Purpose
Standing on a soapbox is not simply about speaking. It is also about listening. We welcome thoughtful questions, honest discussions, and different perspectives. Our goal is to create a place where ideas can be exchanged respectfully, histories can be preserved, practical knowledge can be shared, curiosity can flourish, and faith can inspire meaningful action.
Launching January 6, 2027
We are preparing thoughtful articles, practical resources, and conversations worth sharing.
Patriotism as a Core Part of Our Mission
Patriotism is one of the four principal voices of Our Soapbox. Guided by faith, we explore American history, responsible citizenship, community service, constitutional principles, and respectful ways to address our nation’s challenges beyond party labels.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
1 Peter 4:10 (KJV)
