Faith at Our Soapbox
Our Christian faith shapes how we approach the work of Our Soapbox. It calls us to serve others with humility, speak with honesty, listen with compassion, and treat every person with dignity and respect.
Guided by Faith
We believe knowledge should be shared generously, history should be preserved carefully, and the land and resources entrusted to us should be stewarded responsibly. Faith is not simply one topic among many here—it is the foundation that guides how we explore genealogy, homesteading, artificial intelligence, lifelong learning, and the issues that affect our families and communities.
Speaking—and Listening—with Purpose
Our Soapbox is a place for thoughtful conversation. We may not always agree, but we can speak truthfully without cruelty, ask hard questions without losing compassion, and learn from one another while remaining grounded in our convictions.
As Our Soapbox grows, we hope this spirit of faith, service, and respectful conversation will remain visible in everything we publish.
Faith and Patriotism
Our highest allegiance is to God. That conviction shapes our love of country by calling us toward truth, justice, humility, service, and respect for every person. Faith-guided patriotism strengthens families and communities without turning a political party, leader, or nation into an object of worship.
Let all that you do be done in love.
